the back carved with winged female figures, a monkey head mask and a central quatrefoil marquetry panel inlaid with a bunch of grapes, with a handwritten paper label inscribed 'Made and carved by Charles Lewis, Woodman, Bradley Woods, Newton Abbot, Devon'.
