the brass eight day movement with a silvered platform escapement, repeat and alarm mechanisms, striking on two bells, stamped '2972', the enamelled dial with black Roman numerals, inscribed 'HENRY CAPT' above a subsidiary alarm dial and inside a foliate engraved frame, the gorge case with further floral engraved decoration, bevelled panes and hinged handle, the base with an 'All Works / Striking / Silent' lever, with a key and its original red leather case (2)
