The sale has a number of private consignments including: the Dinton Hall Collection with eighty-one lots of fine furniture collected over the last forty years. Highlights include: a beautiful William and Mary olivewood and marquetry chest, purchased from Turpin Antiques (lot 17), a handsome Regency oak Gothic Revival serving table (lot 20) and a fine William and Mary walnut bureau bookcase (lot 57). The sale also includes 'A Desk Fit For An Emperor', lot 191 an Important Louis XVI bureau plat almost certainly by Claude-Charles Saunier which was formerly the working desk of Napoleon III and was at Villa Eugenie in Biarritz and Farnborough Hill.

We are pleased to offer two weeks free storage at Sackville-West Moving & Storing, Andover, for all lots purchased from this sale. Please note, owing to a busy sale schedule, all bought lots from this sale will be transferred to Sackville-West immediately after the sale. Lots will be available for collection from Tuesday 23rd April where they will be stored free of charge until the 7th May, after this time storage charges will apply. Please be aware no lots will be available for collection from Castle Gate or Castle Street.
