A lacquered brass cased marine chronometer, the 56 hour fusee movement to a silvered dial, with subsidiary Down/Up and seconds dials, inscribed 'Whyte, Thomson & Co, Makers to the Admiralty. Glasgow & Southshields, 5710', 4.25in (10.8cm) dia. in a mahogany and brass bound box, with ivory label.
