A 19th century mahogany chest, with a quarter veneered stepped top above a pair of secret drawers and three long deep drawers below flanked by turned columns with leaf capitals on block feet, the middle drawer stamped 'MEYER & BEKENN, BIRMINIGHAM', 49.25in (125cm) h, 45.25in (114.5cm) w, 24in (61cm) d. Three knob handles replaced, veneer loss and general wear to base.
