A William IV mahogany extending dining table attributed to Gillows, each end with rounded corners to a moulded edge above a mahogany telescopic frame joining in the centre, one side with a box to house the brass fasteners, with three extra leaves, the veneered frieze to a reel and dart applied edge and on twelve tapering lobed and ribbed legs, with palmette and floret banded brass caps and castors, 29.25in (74cm) h, 130in (330cm) extended, 59.5in (151cm) w, length fully extended 218in (554cm), with a cradle for six leaves.
