'The Orrery Clock'

'The Orrery Clock', a brass pedestal timepiece by St. James's House Co., with an eight day horizontal movement with an inverted platform lever escapement, with a Roman numeral hour and subsidiary minutes ring, the top modelled with an armillary sphere, enclosing an orrery simulating the orbits of six planets around the sun, on a turned wooden plinth base applied with two plaques inscribed 'THE ORRERY CLOCK JUNE 1983' and 'The St James's House Co. London, No. 86-1500', 43.7cm high.
