worked with polychrome chenille and silk floss on a linen ground, using long and short, fern, split, satin and cross stitch with some couching depicting Ireland with all thirty-two counties and four regions, also divisions of latitude and longitude, the Irish sea with a compass, titled and signed 'A. Wolf', below a satin stitch tree, in a verre eglomise Hogarth type frame
