worked with coloured silks and wool on an undyed linen ground, with cross and satin stitches, with baskets of roses and tulips, urns and a cornucopia of flowers, with the Royal Coat of Arms, the base with a display of musical instruments, in a gillyflower border, signed and dated 'Eliza Smith Aged 9 Years 1822', in a glazed bird's eye maple frame
