After the antique. A 19th century Italian marble Grand Tour bust of Diana of Gabii, on a turned socle, 51cm high.
Diana of Gabii is a Greek statue probably representing the goddess Artemis and is traditionally attributed to the sculptor Praxiteles. It became part of the Borghese collection and is now conserved in the Louvre.
