λ A late 18th century ivory snuff box, the lid inset with a gilt verre eglomise panel depicting a scene of a sorrowful lady accompanied by Cupid, seated beside and leaning on a memorial urn and plinth, on a blue guilloche enamel ground, with a horn and tortoiseshell lined interior, 8.3cm diameter.
