inlaid with boxwood and ebonised stringing and with kingwood crossbanding, the top with a moulded edge above three long drawers, the top drawer with a well fitted interior, with a later gilt tooled green leather sliding writing surface with a hinged central section revealing divisions and boxed compartments, with a hinged dressing mirror on a ratchet which slides to reveal a drawer, the second drawer with further divisions, with gilt brass lion's mask handles, with keeled angles above a shaped apron on cabriole legs
