inlaid with boxwood stringing, the detachable cornice with a broken swan neck pediment and a central turned mahogany urn, above a banded frieze inlaid with three paterae, above a pair of astragal glazed doors decorated with penwork Prince of Wales plumes of feathers, enclosing a later silk lined interior with adjustable shelves, the crossbanded fall with later brass handles, the satinwood interior with drawers and pigeonholes with chequered stringing, the base with a pair of rectangular doors with circular panels, enclosing two short and one long drawer on bracket feet
