An early 17th century oak coffer
An early 17th century oak coffer, the later hinged top with a moulded front edge and crimped sides revealing a vacant interior originally with a till, with a triple panelled front with carved arches with Gothic spandrels and fluted pilasters flanked by bog oak and holly lozenge panels and inlaid with geometric banding, possibly Yorkshire, 73.9cm high, 151.5cm wide. 59.cm deep.
