A Victorian black leather document case by Parkins & Gotto, the hinged lid with a stationery pouch and an expanding concertina compartment with a gilt crown and garter stamp inscribed '24 & 25 OXFORD ST. LONDON MANUFACTURED BY PARKINS & GOTTO', with a brass Bramah lock, 23 x 28.3cm.

William Parkins and Henry Jenkin Gotto established Parkins & Gotto at 2, Hanway Street, London in the 1840s. In the 1850s the company moved to 23-25 Oxford Street.
