In 1897 Andre Risler and George Carre opened their shop in the fashionable Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore in Paris. The company offered the finest silverware and exclusive jewellery. They won a gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1900 and were one of only six French silversmiths to exhibit at the Universal Exhibition in Saint Louis, USA in 1904.
