A RARE WORCESTER BARR, FLIGHT & BARR PORCELAIN DISH
FROM THE SO CALLED GORT SERVICE, C.1810
of scalloped oval form, painted to the centre with the arms of 'PRENDERGAST' and the motto 'VINCIT VERITAS' (Truth prevails) within a gilt anthemion border, impressed and printed marks to the base, together with a a Derby teacup and saucer, early 19th century, painted with oak leaves and acorns on a gilt ground; a pair of Barr, Flight and Barr dishes with a central crest of an eye inside a gilt sunburst, two shell shaped dishes, one painted with a view of Shanes Castle (Ireland), an English porcelain chocolate cup, cover and saucer, early 19th century, painted with bands of flowers on a gilt ground and a set of eight Derby Crown Porcelain services in Imari pattern 1126 (18)
