with ripple mouldings, the moulded cornice centred with a cartouche above a lion's mask and angels, with a scrolling leaf frieze, with a pair of panelled doors enclosing a shelf flanked by columns with cherub head capitals, above a single drawer, on turned bun feet

Provenance
A German Count, his schloss near Saarbrücken. The family derives originally from Westphalen, near the Dutch border which explains the cupboard's origins.
