A 17TH CENTURY GERMAN OAK PEW END FINIAL
DATED '1624'
carved with a cone finial above a pair of mermaids flanking a coat of arms and inscribed 'Henricus Knust 1624', together with a carved and painted oak crest with a shield inside scrolling foliage and beneath a helmet and lion paw and a carved giltwood cross, of Masonic interest, with a central 'Eye of Providence' on a sunburst surrounded by clouds and scrolling knotted arms (3)
