the brass eight day movement striking hourly on a bell stamped 'A*B 3748 178', the porcelain dial with black Roman numerals around a central painted coastal scene and on a gilt foliate ground, inscribed 'Page Keen & Page, Plymouth' above a coastal village scene, with red enamel jewelling, the sides with poreclain plaques painted with houses inside jewelled frames, the case with a caddy top with five turned finial above turned columns, with a stepped base and turned feet, on a later giltwood base, with key and pendulum
