LATE 16TH CENTURY

of shield shape with a square suspension hole, cast with the Royal Arms of England, stamped with an 'A' to the upper corners, swords to both sides and the lower edge and other indistinct marks to the border, the reverse with a circular recess, together with Dent (Major H C), Old English Bronze Wool-Weights, published by H.W. Hunt, Norwich 1927, number 4 of an edition of 200 signed by the author (2)

20cm high, 14.4cm wide, 3cm deep
