An early George III mahogany silver chest on stand
An early George III mahogany silver chest on stand, the rectangular top with a moulded edge, above two drawers with blind fret decoration, the top deep drawer lined with baize and originally with a tray, the lower drawer flanked by lopers, with brass side carrying handles, the stand carved with leaves on a diaper ground, on leaf and cartouche carved cabriole legs and rocaille scroll feet, originally on castors, 71.7cm high, 80.5cm wide, 58cm deep.
