A Queen Anne needlework picture by Rebecca Grant, worked with coloured silks on an ivory silk ground with various stitches and raised stumpwork, depicting Ceres or Plenty standing on a foliage decorated rug, above a mermaid with a sailing ship before mountains and cacti, flanked by a parrot in a tree, a snail, a castle, a recumbent lion and a stag, with insects and an angel, signed and dated 'Rebecca Grant 1709', 25.8 x 38.8cm, in a later glazed gilt frame.
