A late 19th century French onyx mantel clock
A late 19th century French onyx mantel clock, the eight day brass cased drum movement with an outside countwheel and striking on a bell, now missing, the backplate stamped '3004' and with a Japy Freres pastille, the enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and decorated with swags of flowers, the gilt metal mounted case with a cherub finial and decorated with torches, laurel leaves and ribbon tied bows, 34cm high.
