A William IV maroon leather writing box attributed to Bramah & Prestage, with a sunken brass handle, the mahogany flame veneered interior with a gilt tooled leather writing surface and a twin lidded compartment, the underside with pen loops and a letter pouch, flanked by a lift-out tray and an inkwell compartment, fitted with a leather inkwell, inscribed 'H. WEBSTER PATENT LONDON', 10.7cm high, 38cm wide, 28cm deep.
