λ A mid-18th century Indo-Portuguese sandalwood and ebony document box, inlaid with ivory and ebony scrolling leaves and flowers, the hinged lid with a central medallion and applied with gilt-brass flowerheads, the later plush lined interior with a lift-out tray with divisions, with Chinese style brass carrying handles, Vizagapatam, 13.2cm high, 48cm wide, 32.3cm deep.
