An early 19th century needlework sampler
An early 19th century needlework sampler, worked with bands of alphabets, with five crowns and coronets with family initials 'JB DB GB PB JB', signed 'J. BALLINGALL 7', possibly Scottish, 33 x 18.2cm, in a later glazed oak frame, together with a late Victorian Dorset needlework sampler by Bessie Sprackling of Lyme Regis, dated '1890'. (2)
