An early 19th century needlework sampler

An early 19th century needlework sampler, worked with a cat seated on a cushion, with a band of leaves and a Greek key design, inscribed 'BRIDPORT AGED 13 YEARS', 32.7 x 31.5cm, in a later glazed and ebonised frame, the verso with an original handwritten label inscribed 'I give this Picture to my niece Lucy Edith for her life and to her children, after her never to be sold or given out of the family, Louise Budden'.
