An 18th century needlework sampler

An 18th century needlework sampler, worked with trees, seven stars, crowns and seven candlesticks around the Christogram 'IHS' above 'Revelations. Chapter 1st', and excerpts from John's Vision on Patmos 'And in the midst of the seven candlesticks, -one like unto the Son of man, &c. And he had in his right hand seven stars: &c. The seven- stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches.', possibly Quaker, 18 x 20.5cm, in a glazed ebonised frame.
