FIRST HALF 18TH CENTURY

constructed for a latitude of fifty degrees, engraved with various letters, including 'S H W' standing for Summer, Winter and possibly Herbst the German word for Autumn, in a later box with papers and letters relating to the dial, two from the Director of the Science Museum in 1931
