mounted with Meissen porcelain, c.1740-50, with a figure of a beggar musician playing a hurdy-gurdy modelled by J. J. Kandler, together with a girl feeding chickens, another chicken and a Cupid figure in disguise as a fish seller, decorated with laurel leaves supporting a turquoise ground sugar bowl and cover painted with panels of harbour scenes, the lid with courting couples
