A Meissen scent flask c.1730, of flattened circular form, finely painted with a continuous harbour landscape, depicting figures unloading boats, setting sail and talking at the water's edge, the tapering neck moulded with flutes and highlighted in puce, orange and gilt, with metal mounts to the neck and foot, blue crossed swords mark, 9.5cm.
