A pair of English porcelain monogrammed jugs c.1830-40, possibly Coalport, well painted with bold sprays of native flowers including poppy, auricula, rose and forget-me-not, beneath each spout with monogrammed gilt initials, 17cm. (2)
By familial repute, these jugs were a wedding gift to Thomas Croisdale and Lilian H Croisdale, believed to have been part of the manufacturing Croisdale family in the West Riding of Yorkshire.
