A Montelupo armorial jug (boccale) c.1500, the ovoid body painted with an octagonal panel enclosing a lion rampant, the lower diagonal half in blue on an ochre ground, the colours reversed to the upper half, reserved on a ground of dense blue flower scrolls, the wide strap handle washed in green, damages, 20cm.
