An early Derby figure of a Scottish dancer c.1755-56, with some dry-edge characteristics, standing on a low pad base and holding the edge of her skirt in her right hand, wearing a ruffled skirt and yellow hat, the base applied and painted with flowers, some restoration to her hat, 15.5cm.
