Two Chelsea plates, c.1755-60, one of Warren Hastings type, the moulded rim painted with landscape panels, the well with flowers and a moth, red anchor mark, the smaller plate finely painted in the Meissen manner with a central spray of flowers and scattered insects, the moulded rim with further floral vignettes, gold anchor mark, 28.5cm max.
