An early Chelsea beaker
An early Chelsea beaker, c.1745-49, the fluted form painted in an extended Kakiemon palette with a long-tailed Ho-Ho bird perched on rockwork between flowering branches, a red phoenix type bird in flight to the reverse, black line rim, short rim cracks and three small filled rim chips, 7cm.
