A Plymouth mug, c.1769-70, the bell shape painted in polychrome enamels with a Chinese man seated at a low table between two ladies holding flower sprays and a long feather, with tall tea stands beside, the rim with a formal foliate design in puce, a section of the rim broken and restuck, a further short crack, 12.5cm.
