A pair of James Pennington (Liverpool) blue and white asparagus servers, c.1768, the wide fan-shaped forms painted with flowering plants, the slightly inverted sides pierced with small holes beneath a feather-moulded edge, a section of one broken and cleanly restuck, 8.4cm. (2)
