A rare Worcester blue and white coffee can c.1768-70

A rare Worcester blue and white coffee can c.1768-70, painted with two love birds perched on a branch of flowering prunus above peony branches and rockwork, the handle with small comma details around, a small chip to the inside rim, 6.2cm.

The decoration on this can is believed to be unique and it is possible it was produced to match or replace a Chinese example.
