A Chinese lacquered shallow dish, finely painted with seven maidens on a terrace beneath leafy trees, finely drawn in black on a green-brown ground, 1st half 19th century, minor damage, 21.7cm. Provenance: Acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
