A fine gold ground Chinese famille rose bowl, cover and stand, delicately enamelled with court ladies and other figures in a pagoda and beneath pine trees, each piece with a six character mark for Jiang Zheng long zhi (Made by Jiang Zhenglong) in iron red, c.1820, the saucer with a small rim chip, 10.6cm. (3)
Provenance: Acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
