A Chinese blue and white supper set

A Chinese blue and white supper set, painted with scrolling lotus, contained in a fitted black lacquer box, which is inset with mother of pearl with flowering and fruiting branches, 18th / early 19th century, damages, 30.5cm. (9) Provenance: Acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
