A collection of mother of pearl game counters, variously decorated with figures, pagodas and flowers. Comprising: five circular and ten rectangular all inscribed JR, four circular inscribed R, seven oval, fourteen circular, thirty-eight navette-shaped and two shaped like cogs, all early 19th century. Provenance: Acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
