A large and imposing Annamese blue and white meiping, painted with a wide band of scrolling peony beneath bands of chrysanthemum and lotus petals. Cracked and with museum style repairs and two areas of gold lacquer. 15th century, 42cm. Provenance: from the collection of Kenneth Robert Malcolm, C.B.E, 1908-1984.
