A Rare Chinese Lapis Lazuli Brush Pot, Bitong
Qing Dynasty, 18/19th century, with a turned wood stand, 11.2cm high, 9.2cm dia. (2)
With a deeply carved cylindrical body depicting a continuous landscape scene with tiny figures, pagodas, pine and willow trees and with a bridge across a lake.
Provenance
A private collection in Monaco, purchased in Hong Kong in the 1980s for HKD 24,960.
