A rare Chinese blue and white hu-shaped vase, after an archaic bronze form, each face painted with scenes of figures in different pursuits, including a group studying a scroll and another of figures in a garden, seated at a desk about to write, the neck applied with ring handles, the base unglazed and unmarked, Kangxi 1662-1722, together with a wood cover and stand, 26.5cm. (3)
