A large and rare pair of Chinese white-glazed models of standing cranes, with raised heads, each before a tree trunk which forms a taper holder, Kangxi 1662-1722, some good restoration, 28cm. (2) Cf. P J Donnelly, Blanc de Chine, pl.112B for a similar example in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
