A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE DISH AND A FAMILLE ROSE DISH
QING DYNASTY
The Kangxi blue and white dish painted with a lady's attendant greeting a warrior at a camp, with landscapes to the underside, the base with a six character Chenghua mark, the famille rose dish enamelled with a large spray of peony and magnolia growing from leafy branches, the base with a mark in underglaze blue, 21.3cm and 20cm. Provenance: from an English private collection, West Yorkshire, formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
