A CHINESE BRONZE SLENDER ARCHAISTIC VASE, ZHI
17TH/18TH CENTURY

Cast with a band of stylised dragon motifs on a leiwen ground, with a trumpet neck and flared foot, bears an inscription which reads fu Yi (father of Yi), 452g, 19cm.

Provenance: purchased from Bonhams London, Roger Keverne Ltd, 11 May 2021, part lot 118. The Roger Keverne Ltd collection, bought from the Curios Furniture & Miscellaneous Utensils & Hardware Merchants & Employees Association, Hong Kong & Kowloon, on 21st September 1965.
